This is a great website I came across when Recycling The Past took out an ad in triCityNews. The address is www.recyclingthepast.com and its an example of architectural salvage at it’s finest.

Their goal is simple; to meet the needs of everyone from the do-it-yourself inclined, to contractors, renovators, designers, daydream believers and homecoming queens.

What they do is recover artifacts from older homes and sell them to you . Everything from architectural antiques, mantles, stained glass windows, lighting fixtures (both interior and exterior), iron gates, and fencing.

They also have tons of garden stuff like furniture, urns, statuary, and fountains. Plus they carry a large selection of newel posts, gingerbread, molding, victorian pieces, porches, and lots and lots of doors

Could it be that you’re looking for windows, plumbing fixtures, columns, or hardware? Well…they have those bases covered too.

All of Recycling The Past’s artifacts are carefully chosen for their authenticity and uniqueness.

“To assist the client in creating an atmosphere that reflects their own individual style, we will work with them, and perhaps even plant a seed from which a new idea will grow”.

The family owned and operated company, located in Barnegat and now six years young, has quickly become one of the country’s leaders in its field.
