Decorative Oak Newel Post - 3698

Very nice clean Oak newel post from a circa 1880 seaside mansion in prestigious Spring Lake, NJ. Thick and chunky at nearly 8" squared with period ornamentation. Wired for electricity and has a steel plate where a newel post light once sat. Very good original condition.
