Shou Sugi Ban Style Boards - 14114

Shou Sugi Ban or Yakisugi is an ancient Japanese exterior siding technique that preserves wood by charring it with fire. We have taken this technique and brought it to the modern times. Our materiel is all reclaimed and vintage barn wood, and re-sawn materials. During the charring process the degree of gator skin (charring) the client calls for will determine the amount of time the flame is applied to the materials. Once the desired effect has been achieved, a sealer is applied to the materials- creating an amazing accent for the home, resturant, or retail environment. The beauty of the finished product speaks for itself. Pricing is $9.75 to $12.75 per square foot. Boards measure 7-8" wide x 1/2"- 1" thick x almost 12' long. Please email with any inquiries.
